Ibrutinib produced by Incepta (generic name: Ibrutinib, also translated as Yilutini; brand names: Imbruvica, Yike) is an oral Bruton’s tyrosine kinase (BTK) inhibitor. It exerts its antitumor effect by inhibiting BTK, which is required for tumor cell proliferation and metastasis.
It is used for the treatment of relapsed mantle cell lymphoma, relapsed chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), CLL with 17p deletion, and Waldenström’s macroglobulinemia.

It is used for the treatment of relapsed mantle cell lymphoma (MCL), relapsed chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), CLL with 17p deletion, and Waldenström’s macroglobulinemia.
Ibrutinib is also being developed for additional therapeutic areas beyond its approved indications, with more than 10 diseases under investigation, including follicular lymphoma (FL), diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), multiple myeloma (MM), marginal zone lymphoma (MZL), small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL), and acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).
In addition to hematologic malignancies, Ibrutinib is also being explored for autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus, as well as other rare conditions including graft-versus-host disease (GVHD).

Indications:
Ibrutinib is indicated for the treatment of:
(1) Patients with mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) who have received at least one prior therapy;
(2) Patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) who have received at least one prior therapy.
These indications are based on overall response rate; improvement in survival or disease-related symptoms has not been established.
Dosage and administration:
MCL: 560 mg orally once daily (four 140 mg capsules once daily).
CLL: 420 mg orally once daily (three 140 mg capsules once daily).
Capsules should be taken orally with a glass of water. Do not open or chew the capsules.
